Accessibility Statement

Last updated: September 2026

Our Commitment

PurchSense is built for people doing operational work: approving purchases, closing a month, chasing a receipt. This site should be usable by everyone doing that work, including people who navigate by keyboard, use a screen reader or magnifier, rely on captions, or need larger text and higher contrast.

We treat accessibility problems the same way we treat any other defect: as something to fix, not something to explain. This page says plainly where we stand today, including what is not yet right.

What This Statement Covers

This statement applies to the PurchSense marketing website at purchsense.com: the pages describing the product, pricing, comparisons, the ROI calculator, and our policies.

The PurchSense application at app.purchsense.com is a separate product surface and has not been assessed as part of this statement. We make no conformance claim about it here. If you need an accommodation to use the application, contact us and we will work with you directly.

Conformance Status

We target Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.

This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partially conformant means most of the standard is met, but some content does not yet fully conform. The specific gaps we know about are listed below.

We are stating this deliberately rather than claiming full conformance. A claim of full conformance would require a complete audit of every page against every success criterion, including testing with assistive technology, which we have not yet completed.

How We Assessed This Site

This statement is based on a self-evaluation completed on 3 September 2026, covering all fourteen pages of this site. We used automated testing (axe-core), direct measurement of contrast for text against its background and for the non-text elements that identify a control: form control borders, focus indicators, and an outlined button. We also did a manual review of page structure, keyboard operation, form labelling, and link and button naming.

That evaluation found several text colours below the Level AA contrast minimum, and form control borders, focus indicators, and an outlined button below the 3:1 minimum that applies to non-text contrast. All were corrected the same day, which is why they are not listed as limitations below.

A self-evaluation is not the same as an independent audit. Automated tools catch only a portion of accessibility barriers, and we have not yet had this site reviewed by a third party or tested end to end with screen reader users. Reports from people actually using the site are the most valuable input we get, which is why we ask for them below.

What Works Today

As of this assessment, the site does the following:

  • Every page begins with a "Skip to main content" link, so keyboard users can bypass the navigation.
  • Pages use proper landmark structure and a logical heading order, so screen reader users can navigate by region and heading.
  • Navigation, buttons, links, and forms can be operated by keyboard alone, and the focused element is visible.
  • Every form field, including the ROI calculator, has a programmatically associated label.
  • Page content is delivered as HTML and does not require JavaScript to read.
  • Text can be resized and the page zoomed without loss of content; we do not disable pinch-zoom on mobile.
  • Images that convey meaning have text alternatives.
  • We measured the text and background colour pairings across all fourteen pages against the Level AA contrast minimum: 4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text, and 3:1 for icons that carry meaning. Every pairing we measured meets it.
  • Form controls are marked by a border, and when focused by a focus ring. We measured each against every background it sits on, against the 3:1 minimum for non-text contrast. Every one we measured meets it.

Known Limitations

We know about the following problems and are working on them. If you hit something not on this list, please tell us.

Embedded video walkthrough

The product walkthrough video on the Product page is hosted by a third-party player we do not control. Its captions and player controls may not meet Level AA in full. If you would like the walkthrough content in another form, either a written transcript or a live walkthrough with a person, email us and we will provide it.

Untested with assistive technology

We have not completed structured testing with screen readers, voice control, or switch access. There may be barriers our review did not surface.

Tell Us About a Barrier

If any part of this site blocks you, we want to hear about it. Email hello@purchsense.com with "Accessibility" in the subject line.

It helps if you can tell us the page address, what you were trying to do, and what happened instead, plus the browser and any assistive technology you were using, if you know it. None of that is required. A one-line report is better than no report.

We aim to acknowledge every accessibility report within three business days and to tell you what we intend to do about it, including a timeframe when a fix will take longer.

Getting the Same Information Another Way

If something on this site is not reachable for you, we will get you the information directly. That includes pricing details, the onboarding guide, the cost-of-purchasing-chaos report, and a walkthrough of how the system works. Email hello@purchsense.com and tell us the format that works for you. There is no charge and you do not need to be a customer.

Ongoing Work

Accessibility is not a one-time pass. We check new pages and components as we build them, and we re-review the site periodically. This statement is updated whenever the picture changes, including when we find new problems, not only when we fix them.
